Benefits, dis/advantage of riding MC in Baguio

Greetings!
Im hoping to hear other cordillerans or Baguio City resident riders relating on the very big difference of riding an MC in Baguio compared to the lowlands.

Disadvantage: You will miss walking. sayang excercise. i remember when i was in high school up to college, we used to walk from honeymoon rd to john hay, sa may scout hill.

yes...somehow the younger generation of today will not experience how baguio use to be.
I remember how "magical" it use to be and nasa highschool na ako noon riding an X4.
As of now pag dumadaan ako sa Camp John Hay to fetch my gf sa Manor, lagi ako nasisita ng sentries dahil wala na ako helmet coz binigay ko na kay baby.
Good on them.
Pero masarap din mag cruise sa Camp John hay (-;

btw, for those who have been in baguio for awhile na mahilig gumala kung saan saan, baka you have seen my bike (intercepter) which was always visible sa Teachers camp where a training center is located and Session rd across sa Prime Hotel and Club Double I.

riding an mc in baguio now is a big advantage because of the worsening traffic situation, you can get to your destination in half the time so its both practical and still fun, nice weather to ride would be from cold months of nov to feb

preserve na lang natin whats little left of baguio for the benefit of our younger generation

If you plan a long ride, you have to GO DOWN.
And when its homeward bound, you have to GO UP.
In the lowlands, I THINK its easier to go someplace else.

And, some uphills are really power sucker, sucks up engine power on some parts, try doing the rimando road going up with a backride then suddenly this kia taxi or underpowered jeepney or delapidated cage blunders his/her gear shifting and clutch combination timing, Sh*t! Nabitin Tuloy Ako!

Advantage? Centralized Aircon.
This I can say that i has overwhelmed all the disadvantages i can think of.

Oh how I missed the Baguio of Late 70s to Late 80s.

Oo nga broham, diyan sa Rimando i always think na babaliktad yung hinihiram kong TMX.The last i was there sa paakyat na yan meron nang shop ng motors. I think its a repair shop for BB's.

Nung gamit ko yung VF750 F sa Rimando i thot madadaganan ako doon (-:
Then pagtingin ko sa kaliwa, BAH!!! may shop ng bigbikes na strategically located pa sa "semplang area".

I was not around during the 70's...but i remember the 80's very well...

You have to agree with me that the city and its outskirts where MAGICAL. (-:

You guys putting me in the spotlight eh! (-:

After a ride around town yes. Kung masasabayan nyo ko sa night spots and not worry kung may makakakita sa inyo (-;

Yan din ang masarap sa pag MC sa baguio...you can go to nightclubs to nightclubs without waiting and haggling for a taxi.

from baguio rin po ako... along rimando, near everclear water station.

i think the disadvantage of riding a MC in baguio is the fuel consumption. dito kasi sa atin. puro ahon, so ang shifting mo is from 1st gear to 3rd gear lang, yun eh kung kaya ng mc mo mag3rd gear sa ahonan. so mas malakas ang kain ng gaso. -correct me po if im wrong.

advantage naman po, ngayon traffic na kahit san ka shortcut dumaan. so its very nice na nakaMC nalang kasi pwedeng sumingit singit ho diba?
