head cylinder grooving, sino naka try?
anyone of you read this article?

a long time ago a legendary engine builder & tuner Smokey Yunick made a swirl type combustion chamber using a 2stroke engine as test bed, the results as he said were very good, the engine much more power than a non swirl type combustion chamber.
picture a normal squish type combustion chamber from a 2stroke engine then machine a groove that forms a swirl on the squishband, a swirl is when the air rotates inside the combustion chamber like a tornado, when you stir water in a glass that's what swirl looks like. Singh's idea is a crude comparison to Yunick's swirl type head, different approaches but they both have the same goal, complete combustion.

interesting, maliban lang sa punto na tataas ang compression ratio, kasi nagdagdag ka void sa combustion chamber tapos parehas din ang stroke so technically bababa ang compression? i wonder..
never the less a very interesting find, sana ganito lahat ang thread. nice one snifa!!!!!
